Job Title: Clinical Manager
Compensation: $44,000 - $50,000 annually
Location: WFH (US): AL, AR, FL, GA, IN, KS, KY, LA, MS, NC, NM, OH, OK, SC, TN, TX, WI

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for an experienced people leader with a background in healthcare, clinical operations, or call center environments to manage a team of up to 16 Clinical Care Coordinators. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, production-oriented settings and excels at coaching, real-time problem solving, and driving team performance through clear communication and consistent execution. You bring strong knowledge of care coordination workflows, workforce management, and data-driven decision-making—and you know how to build an accountable, engaged team culture.

 

What You’ll Do
Production & Workflow Management
  • Direct and manage daily workflow, queues, and work prioritization to ensure productivity, quality, and service-level targets are met.
  • Monitor real-time performance metrics and intervene as needed to address volume, coverage, or quality issues.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing coverage across shifts, including schedule adjustments and PTO coordination.
Team Leadership & Coaching
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance support to care coordination staff.
  • Conduct regular, structured one-on-one meetings focused on performance, quality, and development.
  • Lead weekly team meetings using standard agendas to align on priorities, reinforce expectations, and cascade key updates.
  • Maintain consistent day-to-day engagement with team members to support execution, remove barriers, and address issues in real time.
  • Foster a positive, accountable team environment that supports engagement, development, and retention.
Performance Management
  • Track individual and team productivity, quality, and compliance metrics.
  • Reinforce performance expectations and clinical standards using defined metrics and scorecards.
  • Provide documented input for performance reviews, promotions, and compensation discussions.
  • Partner with the Director of Clinical Operations and HR on performance improvement plans and corrective actions.
Communication & Team Alignment
  • Lead consistent team communication through structured meeting cadence (team huddles, 1:1s, and all-hands participation).
  • Ensure clear and consistent cascade of priorities, updates, and messaging to all team members. - Surface team sentiment, concerns, and emerging risks to leadership in a timely manner. 
  • Partner with Directors to surface operational risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Hiring & Talent Development
  • Participate in interviews and provide hiring recommendations.
  • Support onboarding and deliver hands-on training to ensure new hires meet performance expectations.
  • Monitor new hire progress and reinforce training to ensure readiness against performance and quality standards.
  • Identify development opportunities and support growth of high-potential team members.
Employee Relations & Compliance
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations issues.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and clinical documentation standards. 
  • Escalate complex employee relations, performance, or compliance issues to the Director as appropriate.


Required Qualifications
  • Prior experience supervising or managing a production-based team in a healthcare, clinical operations, or call center environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing productivity, quality, and service-level performance.
  • Strong working knowledge of care coordination or clinical operations workflows.
  • Experience using EMR systems, workforce management tools, and performance dashboards.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supervising 10 or more direct reports.
  • Background in chronic care management or similar care delivery models.
  • Experience supporting performance management and corrective action processes.

Work Environment & Requirements
  • Work Arrangement: Work from Home.
  • High-speed broadband internet and private home workspace required.
