What You’ll Do
  • Lead all finance and accounting functions, serving as both Controller and senior financial strategist.
  • Oversee accounting operations, including general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, monthly close, and audit readiness.
  • Establish and manage annual budgeting processes and ongoing monthly forecasting with variance analysis.
  • Build and deliver accurate, board-level financial reports and presentations.
  • Serve as a primary advisor to the President/COO and Board on financial performance and strategy.
  • Coordinate and manage the external audit process with a Big 4 or board-approved firm.
  • Develop KPI dashboards and management reports to support operational and strategic decisions.
  • Implement scalable financial systems, tools, and controls that drive compliance and growth.
  • Recruit, mentor, and build a high-performing finance team as resources allow.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including 3–5 years in a VP, Director, or Manager-level role.
  • Demonstrated success in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and audit readiness.
  • Proficiency with accounting and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Enterprise).
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
 
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA, CMA, or MBA.
  • Experience in venture-backed, private equity-backed, or high-growth environments.
  • Experience preparing board packages and investor reporting with operational KPIs.
  • Background in healthcare services, digital health, or regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with dashboard and data visualization tools.

Work Environment & Requirements
  • 100% fully on-site with a Monday–Friday schedule—no weekends or late nights.
  • Monday–Friday availability during business hours with flexibility as needed.
  • Company-provided equipment (Mini PC, monitor, headset, etc.)
  • Up to 30% travel required for in-person strategy, collaboration, or board meetings.
